Common classification of forklift

Generally can be divided into three categories: internal combustion forklifts, electric forklifts and storage forklifts.

Folding internal combustion

Internal combustion forklifts are divided into ordinary internal combustion forklifts, heavy forklifts, container forklifts and side forklifts.

①Common internal combustion forklifts generally use diesel, gasoline, liquefied petroleum gas or natural gas engines as power, with a load capacity of 1.2 to 8.0t, and a working channel width of generally 3.5 to 5.0 meters. Considering exhaust emissions and noise, they are usually used outdoors , Workshops or other places that have no special requirements for exhaust emissions and noise. Due to the convenience of fuel replenishment, it can achieve continuous operation for a long time, and can be competent to work in harsh environments (such as rainy days).

② Heavy forklift

The diesel engine is used as the power, and the carrying capacity is 10.0 ~ 52.0t. It is generally used for outdoor operations in heavy cargo, wharf, steel and other industries.

③ Container forklift

The diesel engine is used as the power and the bearing capacity is 8.0 ~ 45.0t, which is generally divided into empty container stacker, heavy container stacker and container front crane. Used in container handling, such as container yard or port terminal operations. container

④ Side forklift

The diesel engine is used as the power, and the bearing capacity is 3.0 ~ 6.0t. Without turning, it has the ability to fork the goods directly from the side, so it is mainly used to fork long goods, such as wooden bars, steel bars, etc.

Folding electric

The motor is used as the power source, and the battery as the energy source. The carrying capacity is 1.0 ~ 8.0t, and the working channel width is generally 3.5 ~ 5.0 meters. Because of no pollution and low noise, it is widely used in indoor operations and other environmentally demanding working conditions, such as medicine, food and other industries. With people's emphasis on environmental protection, electric forklifts are gradually replacing internal combustion forklifts. Since each battery generally needs to be charged after about 8 hours of operation, a backup battery is required for the working conditions of multiple shifts.

Folding storage

Warehouse forklift is mainly designed for the transportation of goods in the warehouse. Except for a few warehousing forklifts (such as manual pallet forklifts) that are driven by human power, others are driven by electric motors. They are widely used in the warehousing industry due to their compact body, flexible movement, light weight and good environmental performance. When working in multiple shifts, a storage battery driven by a motor requires a backup battery.

Folding van

The load-bearing capacity 1.6 ~ 3.0t working channel width is generally 2.3 ~ 2.8 meters, and the lifting height of the fork is generally about 210mm. It is mainly used for horizontal handling and cargo loading and unloading in the warehouse. There are three operation modes: walking, standing and driving, which can be selected according to efficiency requirements.

Folding stacker

Electric pallet stacker trucks are divided into two types: fully electric pallet stacker trucks and semi-electric pallet stacker trucks. As the name implies, the former is driving, and the lifting is electrically controlled, which is relatively labor-saving. While the latter requires manual pulling or pushing the forklift to walk, the lifting is electric.
